Terms of Service

Welcome to Lattice Relay. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the secure tunneling and proxy service operated by Lattice Tech Lab LLC ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"). By registering for or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Description of Service

Lattice Relay provides secure, encrypted network tunnel services designed to facilitate remote connection and traffic proxying for local media streaming services (such as Jellyfin). Our service relays traffic to allow remote device connectivity without requiring standard network port forwarding or firewall modifications.

2. User Accounts

To use our services, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete registration information. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

3. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use the service to:

• Violate any local, state, national, or international laws or regulations.
• Distribute, stream, or share copyrighted media, software, or other content without obtaining the appropriate permissions or ownership.
• Transmit or spread malware, viruses, or any other computer codes designed to disrupt, damage, or limit the functionality of any system.
• Attempt to bypass, disable, or interfere with security-related features of our platform or network infrastructure.
• Generate excessive network load or perform abusive actions that degrade service quality for other users.

4. Fair Use Policy (FUP)

Lattice Relay Pro is designed for personal and family home media server streaming. Accounts exhibiting continuous, non-stop 24/7 data transfer patterns indicative of commercial re-broadcasting are subject to automated rate-limiting.

• Idle Session Timeouts: To preserve network efficiency and prevent unintentional data usage, active WebSocket tunnels are automatically closed if no media chunks or playheads have been requested for 3 hours (prevents someone leaving a stream playing to an empty room).
• Fair Use Terms: Lattice Relay Pro is designed for personal and family home media server streaming. Accounts exhibiting continuous, non-stop 24/7 data transfer patterns indicative of commercial re-broadcasting are subject to automated rate-limiting.

5. Subscriptions, Payments & Cancellations

Lattice Relay offers both limited free trials and paid annual subscription plans ("Premium"). All subscription fees are billed annually in advance. Subscription details, including renewal terms, will be presented at the time of purchase. You may cancel your subscription at any time, but no refunds will be provided for any unused portion of a subscription period.

6. Privacy & Data Routing

Our network tunnels use transit encryption to proxy data between your local server and remote devices. Lattice Tech Lab LLC does not monitor, inspect, store, or log the media payload contents passing through our relays. We collect minimal operational metadata (such as account details and general connection states) required to operate the service and limit abuse, as detailed in our Privacy Policy.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. LATTICE TECH LAB LLC DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

8. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL LATTICE TECH LAB LLC, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES (INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE) ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal actions or proceedings arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in competent courts of our choosing.

10. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. Your continued use of the service following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
